With the stay-at-home order for the coronavirus being extended in the state of Ohio, in-person worship services at the church will in the short-term be suspended until further notice. We will contact you via the church call-em-all system and provide information on the church website when we are able to resume in-person services. We will continue to provide an online worship service each week which can be viewed from the church website. Alternately, you may leave a message on the church phone and request a free DVD or audio CD of the worship services to be mailed to you. We are also planning to provide an online Good Friday service which will be available to view that evening at 7:00 pm.
The church office will be closed during the week, but phone messages will be retrieved and the mail will be processed. Pastor Eric encourages you to call him on his cell phone if you would like to speak with him.
Regardless of the circumstances that we find ourselves in, we want to remember God’s words found in Philippians 4:6-7, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
The decision to suspend our in-person services was not made lightly. We ask that you continue to pray for wisdom for our church leadership—as they are also praying for you in the decisions you are making! Let us pray together for those in the medical field, our government officials, and for the physical and spiritual health of our nation.
